World Bank to Strengthen Montenegro's Fisheries and Agrifood Sector
Montenegro, Dec. 17 -- The World Bank's Board of Executive Directors today approved a €33 million ($38.76 million) loan to Montenegro to strengthen its fisheries and agrifood sector, key pillars of the country's economy, by improving service delivery, modernizing infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with EU standards.The Climate Resilient and Agrifood Sector Development Project will finance the construction of Montenegro's first modern fishing port at Cape ?eran-Velika Plaza in Ulcinj Municipality, the country's southern tourist harbor.
