Singapore, Sept. 15 -- The World Bank Group has appointed Carlos Felipe Jaramillo as Vice President for the East Asia and Pacific (EAP) Region, effective September 15, 2025.Jaramillo brings over two decades of proven leadership across multiple regions and global practices, positioning him to drive the Bank's jobs-focused development agenda in one of the world's most dynamic regions.As EAP Vice President, Jaramillo will oversee partnerships with 23 countries and manage an active portfolio exceeding US$32 billion.
