United States, Sept. 29 -- VRD Contracting Inc., Holbrook, New York, was awarded a $12,994,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of an operational flight trainer facility, with a total cumulative face value of $13,025,000. Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed in Westhampton Beach, New York, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 5, 2027. Fiscal 2025 military construction, Air National Guard funds in the amount of $12,994,000 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York, New York, is the contracting activity (W912DS-25-C-A019).
