United States, Jan. 6 -- Virginia Pilot Association, Virginia Beach, Virginia, was awarded $13,101,154 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide pilot services in support of Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Port Operations to assist with the navigation of ships in and out of areas from Cape Henry to the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay areas. The contract will include a 60-month base ordering period with an additional six-month option pursuant to Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR) 52.217-8, which if exercised, will bring the total value to $14,485,330.
