Norway, Nov. 19 -- Veidekke has won the competition for the new psychiatric building (PHA South) at the New Aker Hospital in Oslo. The contract with Helse Sor-Ost RHF for the collaboration phase was signed today, and further development of this billion project starts immediately. The New Aker will become one of Norway's largest local hospitals with emergency functions and co-location of somatic care, mental health services, and interdisciplinary specialized addiction treatment. Veidekke's contract covers PHA South, the largest of three buildings for mental health and addiction at the New Aker Hospital.
