Norway, Feb. 11 -- It is finally clear that Veidekke can start building a new environmentally certified city hall in Holmestrand. The assignment for Bane NOR Eiendom is a turnkey contract worth 160 million NOK excluding VAT. The new city hall will have a central location by the train station and is the first piece in a larger long-term development of the area. The 5,950 m² building over four floors is developed according to the environmental standard BREEAM-NOR Very Good with energy class A.
