Norway, June 20 -- Veidekke has signed a contract for the construction of the environmentally certified building 'Utsikten' for Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS (KONGSBERG). The commission is a design and build contract valued at around NOK 2.3 billion excluding VAT. The building in Kongsberg Technology Park will have a total area of 65,000 m2 across eight floors and will accommodate approximately 2,300 workplaces. Here, technology, innovation, administration and IT for one of the country's most important developer environments for advanced technology will be gathered under one roof.
