Uruguay to Improve Secondary Education with IDB Support
Uruguay, Nov. 6 -- The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is lending $60 million to help Uruguay enhance access and quality in its secondary education system. This operation is the third under a Conditional Credit Line for Investment Projects approved in 2016 to finance a broader program of educational support for secondary students.The new loan aims to lower drop-out rates and the share of students who repeat grades.
