U.S. Army selects Bohemia Interactive Simulations' newest Virtual Battlespace 4 to extend virtual, game-based training across the force
United States, July 25 -- Bohemia Interactive Simulations (BISim), a wholly owned subsidiary of BAE Systems, Inc., announced today that the U.S. Army has completed a contract modification to begin upgraded deployment of Virtual Battlespace 4 (VBS4) as part of its ongoing Games for Training (GFT) program.The GFT program, originally established in 2013, provides the Army with a persistent and flexible simulation capability to support mission rehearsal, tactical training, and leadership development across the operational, institutional, and self-development domains.
