Time-Saving Technology Cuts Paperwork and Keeps Lancashire Police on the Beat
United Kingdom, May 14 -- The 3,500-plus front-line officers and staff of Lancashire Constabulary are spending hundreds more hours on the streets in local communities thanks to the use of advanced technology. Lancashire Constabulary has extended its contract for the digital policing app Pronto until 2029. Pronto allows officers to access records and file reports from anywhere, replacing traditional police notebooks. The Constabulary has additionally purchased 1,750 new body cameras to improve evidence collection.
