United States, Dec. 2 -- The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) has awarded the first in a series of awards for the Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a ceiling of $151,000,000,000.
