Luxembourg, Dec. 24 -- Subsea 7 S.A. announced the award of a sizeable contract by LLOG Exploration Offshore L.L.C., for the Buckskin South Expansion project. The Buckskin field is located approximately 305 kilometres off the coast of Texas, in the US.The scope of work includes the transportation and installation of a subsea umbilical and a rigid flowline in water depths of up to 2,100 metres.Project management and engineering activities will begin immediately from Subsea7's Houston, Texas office, with offshore operations scheduled for 2026 and 2027.
