Southwest Shipyard LP awarded $14,147,554 contract to finalize engineering, construct, test, and deliver a new deck barge

United States, Sept. 29 -- Southwest Shipyard LP, Channelview, Texas, was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract to finalize engineering, construct, test, and deliver a new deck barge. The amount of this action is $14,147,554. Bids were solicited via the internet with four received. Work will be performed in Houston, Texas, with an estimated completion date of July 21, 2027. Fiscal 2025 revolving funds in the amount of $14,147,554 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (W912BU-25-C-A034).
