Southwest Research Institute awarded $9,993,000 contract for sensor integration unit (SIU) production and support

United States, Sept. 25 -- Southwest Research Institute, San Antonio, Texas, was awarded a maximum $9,993,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for sensor integration unit (SIU) production and support. This contract provides for procurement of SIU production units, SIU mounting units, and production customer and technical support. Work will be performed at San Antonio, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2030. This contract was a sole source acquisition. Fiscal 2023 and 2024 procurement funds in the amount of $9,993,000 are being obligated at time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (FA8232-25-D-B017, FA8232-25-F-B248).
