Skanska signs University contract in Kentucky for USD 72 million for campus addition in Highland Heights
United States, March 17 -- Skanska has signed a contract with Northern Kentucky University for renovations to the school's campus in Highland Heights, KY, USA. The contract is worth USD 72M, about SEK 780M, which will be included in the U.S. order bookings for the first quarter 2025.The project includes a 79,925-square foot (7,400-square meter) addition to the existing Dorothy Westerman Herrmann Science Center, aimed at unifying various academic programs into a centralized STEM facility. This new addition will accommodate departments such as Biological Sciences, Physics, Geology & Engineering Technology, Chemistry & Biochemistry, and Engineering Technology.
