Sikorsky awarded $7,934,962 contract for Black Hawk helicopter modifications

United States, Sept. 25 -- Sikorsky, A Lockheed Martin Co., Stratford, Connecticut, was awarded a $7,934,962 modification (P00058) to contract W58RGZ-22-C-0010 for Black Hawk helicopter modifications. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $4,711,486,368. Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2027. Fiscal 2024 aircraft procurement, Army funds in the amount of $2,558,485; and fiscal 2022 and 2025 Foreign Military Sales (Australia, Austria, Brazil, Croatia, Greece, Jordan, Sweden and Thailand) funds in the amount of $5,376,477 were obligated at the time of the award. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
