Germany, June 3 -- Siemens Mobility has successfully completed the modernization of the Kijfhoek freight railyard for ProRail B.V., with the facility now operating at full capacity using a state-of-the-art automated yard management system. As the Netherlands' largest freight rail yard, Kijfhoek serves as a crucial hub connecting the Port of Rotterdam with major European industrial centers. The implementation of advanced automation technologies has significantly enhanced operational efficiency and economic viability of freight transport through the facility and strengthens its logistical significance.
