Norway, May 12 -- Scana-owned PSW Power & Automation AS has signed a contract for the delivery of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with a total capacity of 11.3MWh. The solution will be used in the Nordic balancing market as well as in emerging local flexibility markets for energy storage. The company has also secured a 5-year maintenance contract for the system. The contract will be part of an expansion of an existing project, increasing the system's total energy capacity to 22,6?MWh.The solution includes transformers, inverters and battery storage.
