United States, Sept. 26 -- Sauer Construction LLC, Jacksonville, Florida, is awarded a $16,750,000 firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract (N40085-19-C-9263) for renovations of Building X-132 for Military Sealift Command consolidation. This award brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $90,236,617. Work will be performed at Building X-132, Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by December 2026. Navy working capital funds in the amount of $16,750,000 will be obligated at time of award, and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
