Germany, Nov. 20 -- RWE, a global leader in renewable energy, has signed an eight-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Carlsberg Sverige, one of Sweden's largest beverage companies. Under the terms of the agreement, Carlsberg will source electricity produced from the nearby Orken onshore wind farm to power its brewery in Falkenberg, Halland.From January 2026 until December 2033, RWE will supply a total of 25 gigawatt hours of clean electricity annually to Carlsberg, which is enough to power around 80% of the brewery's energy needs in Sweden.
