Germany, July 4 -- On July 3, representatives of Rijkswaterstaat (RWS), the operational arm of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water management, and representatives of GelreGroen signed the major contract for a highway project in the Netherlands. The GelreGroen joint venture consists of HOCHTIEF (40%), John Laing (40%), Dura Vermeer (10%) and BESIX (10%).The project planning, construction and maintenance work will be carried out by a consortium consisting of HOCHTIEF (25%), Dura Vermeer (25%), BESIX (25%) and Van Oord (25%).In the Arnhem area, the GelreGroen joint venture will extend the A15 by twelve kilometers and also widen the A12 and A15 by adding new lanes over a distance of 23 kilometers.
