Poland, Aug. 15 -- The Polish Ministry of National Defence has finalized a Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) with the U.S. government to modernize its fleet of 48 F-16 Block 52+ aircraft to the advanced F-16 Viper configuration, also known as the F-16V. Lockheed Martin [NYSE:LMT] will serve as the primary contractor for the modernization effort, which will significantly enhance the capabilities of Poland's F-16 fleet, ensuring its continued relevance in supporting NATO's collective defense and regional security.
