United Kingdom, May 27 -- Rolls-Royce is launching a new 12-cylinder version of the mtu Series 2000, designated 12V2000 M96Z, for fast yachts, patrol, police and sportfishing boats from 2026. By further developing various components, Rolls-Royce has increased power output to 1,634 kW (2,222 mhp) from 1,472 kW (2,002 mhp). Power density has been raised to a new level, with only minor changes in weight and dimensions compared to the previous 12V 2000 M96X model.
