Japan, Sept. 25 -- NEC Corporation has expanded its lineup of optical transceivers for 25Gb/s transmission with the commencement of sales for the "25G SFP28 80km BiDi" capable of 80km transmission. This product enables bi-directional data transmission over a single fiber, reducing the total number of fibers required for a system and achieving lower deployment costs and easier installation.
