Nashville DEC Adds New Layer of 911 Resiliency
United States, July 28 -- The Nashville Department of Emergency Communications (DEC) today announced plans to implement a new cloud-based computer-aided dispatch (CAD) back-up system, adding a new layer of resiliency to the city's 911 emergency response system.The continuity service from Motorola Solutions will enable Nashville DEC personnel to access and enter information through a cloud-based web portal to coordinate with field responders during IT disruptions or outages.
