Japan, March 4 -- Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) announced that MOL and Seaspan Energy Ltd. (Seaspan Energy; President: Harly Penner)(Note) have successfully completed LNG bunkering to MOL-operated LNG-fueled Car Carrier in English Bay, Vancouver, Canada on March 1, 2025.This was the first LNG bunkering for the Japanese Shipping Company to bunker at Western North America, and was the first case to bunker LNG-fueled Car Carrier in Western North America.
