Italy, July 3 -- The first of the planned four new Metropolis "Boa" trains to implement the current fleet was delivered today to the new workshop in Collegno.The Alstom trains will already be equipped with the new automation system and will enter into service at the same time as the activation of the new signalling and train running control system (CBTC) currently being implemented. The remaining trains will be delivered by 2025.The new trains feature four intercommunicating carriages, greater comfort, improved accessibility and ease of movement from one car to another.
