Netherlands, May 13 -- Ivna Esajas has won the 13th edition of the ABN AMRO Art Award. The jury appreciates Esajas as an artist who is committed to following her own path, creating a unique and thought-provoking universe at the intersection of drawing and painting. In doing so, she raises questions about how we relate to one another and to history, and achieves this by means both poetic and playful. The ABN AMRO Art Award supports the development of promising female artists in the Netherlands and provides a platform for them to reach the widest possible audience.
