United States, Sept. 22 -- Intellisense Systems Inc., Torrance, California, was awarded a $7,654,394 cost-plus-fixed-fee; engineering and manufacturing development; and low-rate initial production contract to develop Next Generation Nuclear Flash Blindness protection systems. This contract provides for ensuring aircrew can safely and effectively execute their mission in a nuclear environment by replacing EEU-2A/P and providing comprehensive protection against flash blindness and retinal burn.
