India, Oct. 31 -- A leading container terminal in India has ordered 30 Konecranes Rubber-Tired Gantry cranes (RTGs). The cranes will run entirely on onboard batteries charged by grid electricity, ensuring efficient energy consumption and zero tailpipe emissions. The order was booked in Q3 2025 and delivery is scheduled for Q1 2027.The greenfield container terminal is designed to set new benchmarks for container handling in India.
