Sweden, Oct. 23 -- Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has been awarded a comprehensive maintenance contract for Malartag commuter trains. It marks an important milestone in delivering robust and efficient solutions for Swedish rail transport. The agreement covers the maintenance of the entire Malartag fleet consisting of a total of 62 trains for up to ten years, providing long-term stability for the region's rail traffic. The takeover of operations will occur in December 2026.
