GE Aerospace Signs Agreement with IT Science To Explore Health & Usage Monitoring Systems Manufacturing
United States, Oct. 22 -- GE Aerospace and IT Science Co., Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore the manufacturing of Health & Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS) in South Korea. The agreement includes the repair of systems and local support to the Republic of Korea Army and Marines operating the KUH Surion, multi-role helicopter. More than 200 Surion helicopters have been built with Korea Aerospace Industries and include the GE Aerospace Health & Usage Monitoring System and the T700 engine.
