Japan, May 30 -- The Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) signed on May 29 a General Agreement to provide a credit line with the government of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire amounting to up to EUR150 million, of which JBIC's portion is EUR90 million. The credit line, JBIC's first extended to Cote d'Ivoire, is intended to provide, through the government of Cote d'Ivoire, the funds necessary for implementing environmental preservation projects in the country under GREEN operations.
