Ethiopian Airlines Signs Agreements with GE Aerospace to Power New Widebody Aircraft
Ethiopia, May 19 -- Ethiopian Airlines Group and GE Aerospace (NYSE:GE) have signed an agreement confirming Ethiopian's choice of the GEnx Engine to power 11 new Boeing 787s. This deal increases Ethiopian Airlines' GEnx-powered fleet from 19 to 30 aircraft, further solidifying the airline's position as a leader in modern aviation technology. Ethiopian also signed an agreement with GE Aerospace reaffirming its previous order for GE9X engines to power eight Boeing 777-9 aircraft.
