Italy, July 10 -- The European Investment Bank (EIB), Terna, Intesa Sanpaolo (IMI Corporate and Investment Banking Division) and SACE have signed agreements totalling €1.5 billion to back the development and construction of the Adriatic Link, the submarine power cable linking the Italian regions of Marche and Abruzzo.
