Germany, Sept. 23 -- This year, sustainability rating agency EcoVadis has awarded Evonik a Gold rating for its performance in sustainability. With this recognition, the chemicals company ranks among the top five percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide over the past 12 months. EcoVadis evaluates corporate performance across four categories: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. In addition to internal company data, publicly available information is also considered.
