EBRD reduces stake in BNP Paribas Bank Polska to 2.9 per cent
Poland, July 8 -- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has slightly reduced its equity stake in BNP Paribas Bank Polska, the sixth largest lender in Poland. The Bank sold 2.345 million shares in an accelerated bookbuild placement on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE).The shares sold on 8th July 2025 represent 1.6 per cent of BNP Paribas Bank Polska's total shares. The EBRD retains a 2.9 percent stake in its longstanding partner.The Bank acquired 4.5 per cent stake in the Polish lender in 2018 to support BNP Paribas Bank Polska's acquisition of the core assets of Raiffeisen Bank Polska S.A.
