EBRD partners with Tegeta Motors to transform Georgia's automotive sector
Georgia, Dec. 17 -- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing a €25 million loan to Tegeta Motors, the largest automotive distribution company in the Caucasus, to drive the transformation of the automotive industry in Georgia and the wider region.The financing will support the expansion of Tegeta's new service centre near the GEZI customs zone in Tbilisi. Strategically located on the Tbilisi bypass, a key link in Georgia's East-West corridor, the facility will be capable of servicing more than 30 large vehicles simultaneously, significantly boosting Tegeta's service capacity.
