Turkey, June 2 -- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing a €25 million loan to Bartu Turizm Yatirimlari, a hotel joint venture between German travel and tourism company TUI Group and the Akra Hotels group in Turkiye.As a part of the project, the EBRD will extend the term of an existing Bank loan and provide the venture with new funding to buy a plot of land for the development of staff accommodation in Antalya, as well as to finance maintenance capex.The financing will also allow the company to expand human capital development and employment opportunities for people forced to leave Turkiye's earthquake-hit region.
