Kyrgyz Republic, March 17 -- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Union (EU) are promoting sustainable water resource management and agriculture by financing upgrades to existing water conveyance infrastructure in the Kyrgyz Republic and helping to build new infrastructure in this area.A financial package of up to €37,96 million, consisting of (i) EBRD loan up to €26.93 and (ii) a 1.03 million grant from the EBRD, (iii) a €10 million EU grant under its Asia Pacific Investment Facility.
