Duke Energy submits early site permit application for potential new nuclear development in North Carolina
United States, Dec. 30 -- Duke Energy announced its submission of an early site permit (ESP) application to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for a site near the Belews Creek Steam Station in Stokes County, N.C., culminating two years of work.
