France, Oct. 28 -- BioMar, a global producer of aquafeed, has been awarded certifications by DNV under the ASC Feed Standard for its production facilities in Nersac, France, and Duenas, Spain. The certificate for BioMar's production facility in Nersac is the first ASC Feed Standard certification ever issued in France.The ASC Feed Standard provides a comprehensive framework for responsible aquafeed production, setting stringent requirements in key areas including social and labour rights, health and safety, environmental stewardship, and responsible sourcing of raw materials.
