Belgium, Oct. 17 -- DEME has taken delivery of its new wind turbine installation vessel Norse Wind at the CIMC Raffles Shipyard, the company said in a statement.Designed to install the next generation of offshore wind turbines, the vessel incorporates advanced technology and sustainable design features. The Norse Wind, designed by GustoMSC and built by CIMC Raffles, can install turbines with rotor diameters exceeding 300 meters and XXL monopiles weighing up to 3,000 tons.Equipped with a 3,200-ton crane, the vessel can operate in water depths of up to 70 meters.
