CSCEC-constructed trans-Guinean rail opened
China, Nov. 27 -- The Simandou mining project, led by CSCEC and other companies, has been launched.It includes mining, railway, and port systems, with the 600-km trans-Guinean rail linking the Simandou Iron Ore Zone to Maribaya Port. CSCEC is responsible for the 85.2-km MXTJ-09 section, which includes 38 bridges (8 large), 148 culverts, and 2 stations, with station buildings totaling 18,631 square meters. Designed for over 100 million tons of freight annually, the railway strengthens Guinea's transportation network and supports long-term economic growth.
