Japan, Dec. 2 -- ClassNK has issued a Certificate of Technology Qualification for Ship to Shore Couplers for liquefied hydrogen transport jointly developed by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. and TB Global Technologies, Ltd., according to the release.The certification marks the first case within ClassNK for liquefied hydrogen marine equipment and applies to a flanged-style coupler used to connect cargo handling piping on a liquefied hydrogen carrier to a marine loading arm installed on a jetty at a liquefied hydrogen site.
