Sweden, Oct. 6 -- Cavotec has signed two additional orders with a total value of EUR 9.35 million with a leading global container shipping company, the company said in a statement.The contracts include shore power systems for both newly built and existing container vessels. The first order, worth EUR 5.55 million, covers the retrofitting of Cavotec's shore power systems on a large number of existing vessels.The work will take place while the ships are in service on routes between Asia, the United States, and Europe. Deliveries are scheduled to begin this year and continue through the end of 2026.
