United States, June 23 -- Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was awarded a $1,500,941,451 ceiling indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the operation of the Software Engineering Institute Federally Funded Research and Development Center. This contract provides for research, development, and prototyping of advanced technology to meet the Department of Defense and national security needs. Work will be performed primarily at facilities located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is expected to be complete by June 30, 2030. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition.
