Building a new school and kindergarten in Narvik

Norway, July 4 -- HENT, a subsidiary of Sentia, has today signed a contract with Narvik municipality (Narvik kommune) to build a new school and kindergarden in Kjopsvik. The contract value is approximately NOK 140 million, excluding VAT.The project will be carried out as a partnering- and cost plus contract in close collaboration with Narvik municipality. The scope includes demolition of the existing Kjopsvik School, and construction of a new education centre where Kjopsvik's kindergarten and primary-school services will be co-located in one building. The total gross floor area (GFA) is about 2,400 m2.Construction is scheduled to begin in September 2025, with an estimated build time of roughly two years.
