Boeing Space awarded $40,526,103 contract

United States, Sept. 16 -- Boeing Space, El Segundo, California, was awarded a $40,526,103 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification (P00168) to previously awarded FA8808-10-C-0001 for Global SATCOM Configuration Control Element Modernization Special Study Phase Two. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $3,141,977,569. Work will be performed at El Segundo, California, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2028. Fiscal 2024 Space Force research development test and evaluation funds in the amount of $32,291,257 are being obligated at the time of award. Space Systems Command, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity.
