Boeing opens new commercial parts warehouse in Germany
Germany, May 14 -- Boeing celebrated the opening of its third distribution center in Germany, strengthening the company's regional service footprint and customer support capacity.On more than 4,500 square meters, the new distribution center located in the city of Dormagen, will store more than 9,000 unique parts for Boeing aircraft, including large items such as landing gear components.Major airline customers in Europe benefit from shorter parts delivery times, enabling quicker repairs as well as maintenance and overhaul work to keep airplanes in service.Boeing continues to invest in and develop regional distribution centers to optimize parts delivery and ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
